Normalize supplier responses

Conforming stretch gauze bandage comparison matrix

Compare factories only after construction, measurement basis, pack scope, quantity denominator, destination and evidence questions use the same columns. This matrix is a buyer-side method, not a supplier rating or product approval.

Pre-quote checklist

Fill the buyer-input column first. Ask every candidate to answer the supplier-confirmation column without replacing blanks with assumptions. If a factory proposes an alternative, add a new line and record the affected price, pack and approval status.

Three trade-offs to make explicit

Conformability versus construction: stretch or conforming descriptions are not interchangeable with a measured property; ask the supplier how the quoted model is described and evaluated.

Lower unit quote versus pack basis: divide the comparable product subtotal by the confirmed roll or piece count only after pack hierarchy and exclusions match.

Available file versus applicable evidence: a related-series document may be easy to provide but still fail to answer the exact-model question.

We can coordinate

A common response sheet, candidate outreach, field-by-field follow-up, alternative logging and a concise list of blank or inconsistent answers.

You confirm

The requested gauze configuration, acceptance method, document sufficiency, optional budget, approved alternatives and final factory choice.
